SEED Connect – Alumni Event

We had our SEED Connect – Alumni Event on 29 November 2023!

About
the event

After a year, we met again with the SEEDers in the Alumni Community. We had an excellent event with fellow executives, great talks, exclusive guest speaker.

The topic for this event was about

THE MIRAGE OF SUCCESS – LEARNING LEADERSHIP AND COLLAPSE THROUGH HISTORY

Our key speaker on this event was:

  • Péter Antalffy – historian and public speaker

    Péter talked about managing change from a historical perspective, discussed the varied interpretations of success during different time periods and revealed numerous misbelief concerning succesful historican indivuals and places.

For the second time in SEED’s history, we recognized some of our Alumni Members for their recent successes, outstanding professional and leadership performance with the

SEED Excellence Award

Our recognized Alumni Members were:

  • Réka Szűcs (Director and Service line leader at Deloitte)
    – outstanding leadership performance in Deloitte’s Sustainability and Climate Change business division
    – professional partner and climate expert in the UNICEF Climate Heroes programme
    – active representation of environment and sustainability in conferences, and lecturer at Corvinus University as of the next semester
  • Volodymyr Mudry (Chief Executive Officer at OTP Bank Ukraine)
    – outstanding leadership performance as Chief Executive Officer at OTP Bank Ukraine, in handling the complex economic, societal, and humanitarian crisis following the Russian invasion
    – active support of Ukrainian economic, financial and banking organizations, also as the Chairman of Ukrainian Banking Association (IABU) from June 2023
    – listed among the top 5 bankers in Ukraine by Financial Club, and top 3 influential bankers in Ukraine list by Focus magazine
  • Edina Kiss (Chief Financial Officer at MET Magyarország)
    – outstanding professional and leadership performance as Chief Financial Officer of MET Hungary
    – fostering of the company’s group level innovative business strategy in the energy sector with a focus on renewable energy sources
    – supporting the visibility and professional community of women leaders in the energy sector as a member of the non-profit association WoNY (Women in Energy)

After the ceremony, there was time to reconnect with your peers, connect with like-minded fellow leaders, and share a dinner together. Thanks to all of you who attended!
