We are proud to share that Balázs Sipos, distinguished Faculty Member at SEED Executive School, has been appointed as Vice President of MAGYOSZ – the Hungarian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association. This is a significant recognition of his long-standing dedication to the pharmaceutical sector and his leadership within the industry.

Balázs has built a remarkable career over the past three decades. He began at Biorex Research and Development, then continued at EGIS Pharmaceuticals. In 2000, he joined Boehringer Ingelheim, where he led the launch of the OTC division and later served as Business Unit Director. From 2018, he was Managing Director of Boiron Hungary, and from 2020, Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe. In 2024, he became CEO and Board Member of Béres Pharmaceuticals.

Reflecting on his appointment, Balázs shared:

“I am deeply honored to have been elected Vice-President of the Hungarian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association. I will do my best to represent the interests of the Hungarian pharmaceutical industry even more actively and to work together for the sector’s development and competitiveness. I believe that the know-how, traditions and research-and-development potential of Hungarian pharma industry are crucial for the future of healthcare and I will contribute to this collective effort with enthusiasm.”

His executive experience and leadership mindset have been invaluable to SEED’s programs. As a mentor, he has guided many participants through real-life leadership challenges with clarity and dedication.
