Recently, we organized an interactive discussion at Corvinus Career and Business Festival for the university’s students. The speakers at the event were Krisztina Horváth, Dr. Judit Zolnay and György Leitner, SEED’s esteemed faculty members.
The speakers shared valuable insights on career advancement and achieving success, drawing from their own experiences as CEOs and leaders in their fields.


The discussion kicked off with the speakers sharing their own journeys to becoming CEOs. The ladies shared their personal experiences and challenges they faced as women leaders, being among the first in their respective fields. The speakers also shared their perspective on the role of “luck” in achieving success and emphasized the importance of being prepared to seize a fortunate opportunity when it arises.


The speakers also discussed the key factors they consider crucial while selecting individuals for higher positions, including whether having a relevant experience or a (master’s) degree holds more importance. They provided insights on how to overcome failures and the significance of acknowledging your mistakes, being vulnerable without appearing weak.


Overall, the event was a great opportunity for students to learn from experienced leaders and gain valuable insights on career building.
