Konstantin teaches at European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in Berlin. He joined ESMT in August 2005. He received his tenure in 2011. He is director and co-founder of the ESMT Center for Leadership Development Research (CLDR). Konstantin received his PhD in Management (Organizational Behaviour) at INSEAD (France, Singapore, and Abu-Dhabi).

In addition to his academic work, he has over 20 years of practical management and leadership development experience in Europe, Asia, Middle East and the Americas.

Konstantin conducts research on leadership development, leadership coaching, careers, and executive education. He has authored, co-authored and co-edited six books and multiple academic and practitioner articles, business cases, and book chapters on leadership development and executive coaching.

Konstantin is the program director for ESMT’s Leading People and Teams and Leading with Psychological Intelligence executive program. He teaches Organizational Behaviour in the ESMT EMBA program and oversees the Individual Leadership Development Itinerary of EMBA students. Konstantin is the founder of the ESMT Coaching Colloquia series – premier professional development events for the world’s leading executive coaches.

Additionally, Konstantin has held positions of Director of Professional Development for Ernst & Young, consultant for the Center for Business Skills Development, and researcher at New York University.
