Digital development is not a priority for many Hungarian companies

Napi.hu recently published an article on SEED’s recent survey on digitalization, highlighting that only few Hungarian business leaders are open to change in digital transformation, leaving the companies lagging far behind foreign firms, with only few gaining a competitive advantage.

The survey also found that companies are mainly using digital transformation to improve their traditional business models and customer satisfaction, with few expanding their value proposition or breaking into new areas.

As György Leitner, SEED Business Director added, the changing needs of employees pose a major challenge for managers. More and more people are only meeting the minimum requirements of their jobs and are looking for more flexible jobs. As a result of the pandemic, people are used to remote and hybrid working. This can hamper the efficient functioning of the company, as it is extremely difficult to integrate hybrid workers into the company’s life.
